OLA Senior High School – Our Lady of Apostles Girls Senior High School (OLA Girls SHS) is an all-female second-cycle institution located in Ho, in the Volta Region of Ghana. The school is known for its strong academic tradition, discipline, and moral formation.
History
OLA Girls Senior High School was founded on February 1, 1954, by Bishop Anthony Konings in Keta with an initial enrolment of 35 students. The school began operations using borrowed facilities from a convent boarding school for girls and a nearby middle school, which were adapted to serve as classrooms, a dining hall, and dormitory accommodation. Over the years, the school has grown into one of the leading girls’ senior high schools in the Volta Region.
