Mawuko Girls Senior High School – Ho
Mawuko Girls Senior High School, officially known as E.P.C. Mawuko Girls’ High School, is a public all-female second-cycle institution located in Ho, the capital of the Volta Region of Ghana. The school was founded by the late Reverend Professor Noah Komla Dzobo of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, with a focus on empowering girls through quality education and strong moral values.
History
Mawuko Girls Senior High School was established in 1983 and later attained boarding school status in 1997. It is the second senior high school for girls in Ho and has since grown into an important centre for female education in the region. The school operates under the motto:
“Educate a woman for God and educate a whole nation for God.”
