Volta Regional Museum – Ho

The Volta Regional Museum is a cultural and historical museum located in Ho, the capital of the Volta Region. Managed by the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board, the museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history, traditions, and artistic heritage of the Volta Region.

Opened in 1973, the museum houses a rich collection of cultural artifacts, including traditional woodcraft, pottery, Kente textiles, masks, stools, musical instruments, and relics from the German and British colonial periods. Visitors can also explore contemporary artworks by artists from the Volta Region.

The Volta Regional Museum serves as an important centre for cultural education and tourism in Ho.
